AJU Group Participates in Sponsoring "2024 815 Run" to Celebrate National Liberation Day

AJU Group joined the "2024 815 Run" donation marathon campaign organized by Habitat for Humanity Korea to mark National Liberation Day.
 

 
The "815 Run" donation marathon campaign, which has been held since 2020, is a campaign to remember the sacrifices and dedication of independence fighters and to convey a message of gratitude to them in commemoration of National Liberation Day. And the fund raised will be used to improve the residential environment for descendants of independence fighters.
 
In commemoration of the 64th anniversary of its foundation, AJU Group held the preliminary round of the race event of " AJU TEAM Star," which was held as part of its organizational vitality program, in conjunction with the "815 Run" donation marathon campaign. It encouraged executives and employees to naturally reflect on the meaning of the independence movement and Liberation Day through in-house events.
 
"This participation in the donation is a good opportunity to celebrate the joy of National Liberation Day with executives and employees and to help improve housing for the descendants of independence fighters," said an official from AJU Group. "We will continue to strive to fulfill our social responsibilities for a virtuous cycle of happiness."

AJU Welfare Foundation agrees with e-sports education institutions

The AJU Welfare Foundation signed an e-sports education business agreement with the Superfect E-sports Academy to help vulnerable children and adolescents explore their careers.

Superfect E-sports Academy is an educational and cultural institution established to discover and cultivate potential professional gamers, and through this agreement, the AJU Welfare Foundation will discover children with talents in e-sports and provide various education and solutions for children interested in careers such as e-sports departments and professional gamers.

This agreement is part of the AJU Welfare Foundation's ‘Dream-finding’ project, and Dream-finding is a social contribution activity in which outside professional instructors visit local children's centers every month to provide various experiences in career paths to vulnerable children and adolescents in welfare blind spots.

An official from the AJU Welfare Foundation said, "We have signed this agreement to provide various career solutions to vulnerable children and adolescents," adding, "We will continue to cooperate organically with specialized educational institutions so that children can find dreams and draw specific dreams."

Kongyounghaeun Wins Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister's Award for "2024 Construction Day"

Lim Sun-woong, head of the Pyeongtaek Office of Kongyounghaeun, received a commendation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport at the "2024 Construction Day" ceremony.
 
Organized by the Korea Federation of Construction Organizations, "Construction Day" has been held every year since 1981 to inspire pride of construction workers who have contributed to the development of the national and construction industry and to present the future vision of the Korean construction industry. At the ceremony, 111 construction workers who made great contributions in each field of the construction industry received government awards and commendations from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
 
Lim Sun-woong, head of the Pyeongtaek branch of Kongyounghaeun, also served as chairman of the Incheon branch of the Korea Aggregate Association from 2023, and in November of the same year, he won the award in recognition of his contribution to the development of the construction industry by supplying high-quality natural aggregates to construction sites.
 
Lim Sun-woong, the head of the business, said, "We will continue to operate the business by sticking to principles and basics, while we will do our best to manage safety more thoroughly so that Kongyounghaeun can serve as a leader as an example of the sea aggregate cleaning business."

AJU Group receives the Red Cross Membership Merit Grand Honor Award

AJU Group was awarded the Red Cross Membership Merit Grand Honor Award by the Korean Red Cross. the Red Cross Membership Merit Award is a certificate of membership awarded to donators who contribute to humanitarian and social contributions activities based on the amount of donations. AJU Group donated about 334 million won, so received the Red Cross Membership Merit Grand Honor Award.
 
The donation is the addition of 34 million won, which was prepared by conducting a fundraising campaign for executives and employees to raise relief funds for the earthquake in Turkiye last year, and an additional 300 million won donated by the group. The relief donation campaign was conducted in two ways: 3,000 won was donated when ordering a cup of coffee from an in-house cafeteria and voluntary donation of fundraising accounts, and the company contributed one-on-one matching donation as much as the amount of voluntary donations, helping members' hearts.
 
An official of AJU Group, who participated in the ceremony for the Red Cross Membership Merit Grand Honor Award, said, "We wanted to fulfill our corporate responsibilities by delivering a real and good influence in each social disaster situation," adding, "We will create a sustainable future where we can be happy with everyone, remembering that corporate philosophy lies in pursuing abundance and happiness in society as a whole beyond simple economic exchanges and achievements."

AJU IB Investment and AJU Continuum officially sponsored the "2024 Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival" for the 13th consecutive time, continuing their Mecenat activities.
 
Launched in 2006, the Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival is a music festival that has invited the world's top musicians to expand the base of chamber music performances in the domestic music industry.
 
Unlike ordinary orchestra performances, chamber music is a genre where musical and human exchanges between performers are important. So this year, Under the theme of "All in the Family", musicians couples, veteran ensembles who have worked together for a long time like families, and composers from the same nationality and ethnic background participated in the festival .
 
During the "Better halves" performance sponsored by AJU, 11 domestic and foreign musician couple performers, including violist Lee Hwa-yoon and cellist Cho Young-chang, performed masterpieces by world-class composers such as Beethoven, Boquerini, Chopin, and Brahms, providing a friendly and warm family atmosphere.
